Over 300 years ago, Cape Cod farmers began clearing their
fields of stones. These stones became fireplaces, walkways and
walls which marked the boundaries of their land. Many of
these walls can still be seen, a testimony to the endurance of
stone. Today the art of Cape Cod Masonry has become far more
complex combining a wide variety of materials and applications.
Christopher Smith chose Brewster, in the heart of Cape Cod, to
raise his family and establish himself as a landscape mason.
Each project is a blend of his clients’ desires and his talent and
experience. He is a master of his craft working both independently
and with landscape designers to meet and exceed his clients
